Our client a privately owned franchise dealership is looking to appoint the above.
The main job description and functions would include:
|Handle customer enquiries in person and via the telephone in a polite and professional manner at all times.|
|Ensure the correct parts are ordered in a timely manner and the best possible price and supply is achieved at all times. Ensure all retail part sales are pre-paid in advance.|
|Receiving of parts and bringing into stock correctly.|
|Ensure parts are returned in a timely manner and relevant paperwork is processed to the relevant departments.|
|Parts booked out upon receipt and delivered or collected with urgency and cost effectively.|
|Ensure workshop and bodyshop is kept in production by ensuring parts are available when required.|
|Ensuring each customer is aware of the services we offer and upsell opportunities are identified for all areas of the Company.|
|Process VHC workshop requests with urgency and accuracy supply prices and availability.|
|Handling payments and daily reconciliation of takings.|
|Liaise with all relevant departments within the Company to ensure the efficient running of the department.|
|To deal with any customer complaints relating to the Parts Department following the Company Complaints Procedure at all times. Any escalated claims to be passed to the Aftersales Manager.|
|To cover absent staff from within the department and assist where necessary to ensure the efficient running of the business.|
|Ensuring all sales opportunities are maximised and leads followed up.|
|Identifying opportunities within the Vehicle Parc and reporting any new leads to the Aftersales Manager for follow up and visit.|
|Carry out perpetual stock checks weekly.|
|Monitor unallocated stock daily.|
|Source and order consumables for the business at the best possible price and supply.|
|Ensure site security at all times|
|Ensure the department is kept clean and organised at all times.|
