Sales Manager – Motor Trade
Our client, a dual-franchise motor dealership group is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead their busy Sales Department at their dealership in Weston Super Mare, managing one of the brands.
To develop sales and marketing plans and budgets to achieve agreed financial, marketing and sales targets.
To organise, direct and control the activities of sales staff and administrative support to achieve plans and budgets, ensuring optimum use of all material, financial and personnel resources.
To promote and nurture a customer care culture, delivering care levels consistent with the expectations of the Company.
This is very hands-on role and the person appointed will:-
Have an outstanding record of sales achievement.
Be a motivator, be capable of leading, developing, mentoring and coaching a team.
Be highly organised to ensure that all the company’s disciplines, procedures and reporting analysis are strictly adhered to.
Have an understanding of database management and be able to realise its potential to market and drive the business forward.
Be able to provide outstanding customer service. Have excellent communication, organisation and inter-personal skills.
Have a sound understanding of F & I opportunities, market trends and dealership initiatives.
You must be motivated by job satisfaction and the desire to achieve outstanding results.
You will also be able to generate a strong and enthusiastic team spirit and encourage total commitment to produce high performance from your team.
A clear understanding of the key drivers is essential – not just in financial terms but also customer satisfaction.
