Vehicle Accounts Administrator – Cardiff

We have received instructions from our client to hire for the above role for their privately owned business( a dual franchise) based in Cardiff.

Job Purpose: As an Accounts Assistant you will have an eye for detail, accuracy, excellent people skills, and enthusiasm.

Working within an established Dealership, you will be given training and support to help you learn the systems and processes.

Your Key Objectives will be:

To work with colleagues to provide excellent customer service by exceeding their expectations

To ensure the efficient administration of clerical and reporting procedures throughout the department. This will be measured by the task sheets being completed for the relevant periods.

To complete the cashing up and banking on a daily basis.

To ensure system and method in all administrative matters relating to sales including effective manufacturer contact.

To provide a consistent level of customer service, representative of the retailer and manufacturer.

To ensure that all vehicle invoices are raised accurately and on time.

To ensure correct costs including bonus are allocated to the correct vehicles.

To ensure that all invoices / credits and road fund licenses are issued correctly and on time.

To maintain a simple and systematic filing system.

To ensure good customer contact and maintain an adequate flow of information to staff.

To ensure that all Dealer Transfers are dealt with in an efficient and accurate manner.

Administration of the Debt collection period within specified day’s credit.

Provide information and reports to the Director  routinely and on request in accordance with Retailer – stock sales and debtor’s reports.
Strong customer service skills and an eye for detail are essential.

Salary and package negotiable based on experience and a part – time role may well be considered.
